Runaway Bay is in walking distance from the Historic Bridge Street, the Hub of entertainment in this wonderful beach community, a street where you can shop, dine, and play from beach to bay. The free trolley also makes a stop on Gulf Drive, right in front of Runaway Bay’s complex. Take the trolley to the beach or anywhere else you want to visit on the island without worrying about getting sand in your car. Visit downtown Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach, or any of the local restaurants or establishments. You can even jump on the trolley for just a scenic ride around the island! In addition to the free trolleys, locals and visitors alike can travel up and down the island for exceptional quality seafood restaurants and coastal living shops via bike, golf cart, kayak, or boat. This area also offers a great variety of boat tours, fishing charters, parasailing, scuba diving, and Golf among many other exciting activities. Nice condo had everything available for use at the beach, chairs, umbrella and toys. Easy walk to beach access across the street. We enjoyed our stay.

Our 3rd stay at Runaway Bay 215 went very well. Getting away from Ohio's harsh winter is always a blessing. We were fortunate to meet and talk with the new owner. Looking forward to next year's stay.

Dear: The department exceeded my expectations. We really felt very comfortable and safe. The facilities are superior to the photos. The distance to the beach is very close and we will definitely choose them again. I hope to come back soon!!!!

It was my first experience with Best Beach Getaways and I was a little bit nervous due to some negative reviews. Well...I stressed myself out for no reason. We arrived to Anna Maria Island around 11 am due to early flight. I called management just to make sure it was ok to park our car and use a pool prior to check in, which is 4 pm, because it was very hot. Not only Amanda said we are welcome to use it, but in less then 15 min I got email stating our rental was ready. That was a pleasant surprise. Later I had some questions and I got responses without delay. The unit was as described. Actually I think it was much better then pictured. It had everything you might need during your vacation. The beach is a minute away and the area is nice and quiet. We used gym a couple of times. It was small but had all needed equipment and weights.
My only suggestion would be to add more towels, depending on length of stay, since this unit does not have washer and dryer. Though there is a laundry room onsite, the last thing i wanted to do was going outside to do my laundry at 93-94F.
I would recommend this place and the company. I am definitely considering this spot for next year.

The unit was well-equipped and very clean - perfect for 2 people for 2 weeks. Suggestions would be a new mattress (rather soft) and more robust air conditioning. Issues (shower curtain and tv) were dealt with very quickly by Best Beach staff. A pleasant stay at Runaway Bay - as always.

Had a beautiful relaxing week! Unit 215 runaway bay was a great location and very quiet (with the exception of the calming sounds of the pond fountain which was great)! Check in was seamless. The unit was furnished with all the basic necessities. We love AMI and will be back!
