When we purchased our Runaway Bay home last December, we were unfamiliar with all the details and procedures involved with handling a vacation rental property. Fortunately, we found Best Beach Getaways for the job. Their on-site office at Runaway Bay is especially appealing as it fosters a more responsive and hands-on approach to our needs and closer connection to the Runaway Bay community. Initially, the property needed quite a bit of sprucing up to improve its rental appeal, and Amanda C., our Operations Manager, provided us with a great amount of guidance regarding decorating enhancements; and dedicated much time and effort making sure all the pieces came together. Since we started renting at the beginning of this year, we’ve come to appreciate how Amanda and her staff are always accessible, and how they promptly address the needs of our rental customers and oversee the home’s upkeep. We are pleased with BBG’s marketing approach that ensures we have good visibility to the rental market including their easy-to-navigate, customer-friendly website and use of rental sites like VRBO. The BBG owner portal provides us with all the information we need regarding our rental unit; and, each month, detailed statements are e-mailed to us and rental income deposits are promptly executed. Any statement questions are always addressed quickly by Shelley Carroll in Accounting. I just wanted to write a letter of recommendation for Best Beach Getaways Management Company. I have owned a condo for over twenty years and have always gone with the in house rental management. Since we purchased the condo in Waterscape, we had decided to stay with the current management, BBG, at least to see another option. I have never had the service and dedication to my needs and even my desires, as I have had with your company! From everything to helping me with finding furnishings, to having deliveries held at your office until I could arrange to exchange them out in the unit, to actually anything that I could ever need. You came highly recommended by the seller that I purchased the unit from and now I understand why. The bookings have been unreal and with great rental pricing. I am not being charged for every little thing, as with the other company and I am seeing more net profits. So in the event that we sell our unit, I would suggest the new owner remain and reap the benefits of extra rental income, as well as continue to have them manage any future units that I purchase. Everyone has been amazing all the way down to the cleaning crew! Thanks so much for the special hands on care that I have received. And also for all the answers to all my questions on all those phone calls when starting this venture
