We bought our unit in July 2020 and came on board with BBG. We live in New Orleans and being our first short term rental and living the distance we do; it was to our advantage to have a good management company to partner with.
It took us a season to get used to the workings of a management company as we are very hands-on but felt the need to have professional help. We met Delphine at the very beginning. There were several requests that we had which may not have been the norm with other of your clients. But Delphine walked us through what was reasonable and guided us through the rest.
We have had a few issues and have had to do upgrades throughout the unit. Delphine was on the premises to help. My sister’s family happened to be in the unit when the A/C failed and then the ceiling outside collapsed. She relocated and took very good care of them. She went above and beyond what she probably had to do, it all worked out wonderfully considering the mess going on at the complex. Delphine is a terrific asset for BBG, and we would recommend working with her to anyone.
Our unit consistently gets 5-star reviews mostly noting “cleanliness” and "excellent upkeep”. We have friends who have stayed in our unit, and they always compliment us on the upkeep. Delphine is aware of some of the asks we have such as keeping the fans running between renters, keeping the A/C temp a little lower than most, having a broom in the closet at all times, to name a few. Delphine is always on top of any issue that arises. And she always answers my texts or phone calls. I wonder when she takes time off!
Also notable is Shelley’s customer service with the owners. She returns all our calls and works with me on the phone to resolve issues, check into rental numbers, and adjust pricing when necessary. Shelley always has a great attitude about any questions we may have. She is patient and has good explanations for our questions. She has also helped us work on pictures for the website and wording for the description.
The team you have put together at BBG is doing a great job. We appreciate the efforts and feel like BBG is working with us to keep our property in great shape and rented as much as possible.

My husband, Jim Gresham, and I own the property “Daydreaming” in Destiny East. We live a thousand miles away in Michigan and when we first purchased our house, we worried that maintaining it would be a huge headache due to the distance. After two years, we are delighted to say that this has not proved to be the case, thanks in great part to the watchful eye of Delphine. As our property manager, she is literally just a text message away and keeps us informed in multiple ways on everything happening with our house. She has gone out of her way on numerous occasions to be there for special deliveries and to even take photos of new items and send them to us. When a problem arises, she takes the initiative to resolve it and gives us options regarding possible fixes along with costs involved. She cares for our home like it was her own, and that's really saying something!

Changing management companies is not an easy decision. For us, it was the right change. Best Beach Getaways is a company that truly cares about the people it represents and rents to. We no longer feel like we own “just another condo”. It’s that specialized service that makes them stand out from the rest. They address our questions and concerns rapidly which is important to us since we do not live in the area. They are very accessible and have proven to be able to handle the most intricate situations easily. We are able to use our condo whenever we want since they don’t require any mandatory allotment of weeks. Yet, they always keep it adequately rented during the time we don’t use it. This year it was occupied 92% of the weeks through August. In all, we are extremely satisfied with Best Beach Getaways.

Best Beach Getaways has been my rental property manager since 2013, when my wife and I purchased a rental home in Emerald Shores in Miramar Beach. At that time we met with Jim DeVos and the team.
